R2R Guest Book 2006
This guest book allows people to add comments about the Ready to Race site, or the weblog ("blog") generally. Don't forget to let us know where in the world you're from.
We were delighted to see the Ready to Run pages receive special mention in Howard Wright's "Business Matters" page in Sunday 1 October's edition of THE RACING POST.
SAHorseracing.com also discussed the new site on their popular racing portal late last week.
We have also received a lot of lovely emails from people and we thank you for taking the time to provide feedback.

Am really loving your site, and find it thoroughly interesting and a daily ritual. Very informative and professional. I was interested in the photo, of young horse being backed(i presume,) with what looks like a sack being tied onto the horse, I guess to simulate weight. I ask you to keep an eye on telly track, Keeping Track, where a programme is currently being produced, featuring my Husband Gary's methods of "starting" and "backing" young horses. I think you will enjoy it.Look forward to feed back. Thanks for the lovely site. Best Regards, Jax Jollifee

Congratulations on a fantastic innovation.
The Ready to Race information gives the reader everything he/she wants to know, in-depth pedigrees, photos and if the reader doesn't have the time to go through each lot, the brief summaries are invaluable.
In doing this you have raised the bar for studs and auction houses throughout the world on how to promote and raise awareness of their particular product.
I hope others follow your lead with this type of promotion, it can only benefit horse racing and breeding in general.
Congratulations to all concerned with this project, I'm sure the success of the sale will will be due in large part to your promotion and market awareness online

As a small contributor to one of this country’s racing publications, I can’t resist the opportunity to mention how fascinating I’ve found the entire Ready To Run category of your Summerhill blog.
I recently researched an article for a local Horses In Training sale and the difference in presentation was noticeable.
The format created by Summerhill is pleasantly open, and the information provided is “three-dimensional” and readily accessible.
As such it gives readers the chance to share in the most interesting aspects of the sale process, and I’m certain prospective buyers feel this same sense of “inclusion”.
Congratulations to Ms Partridge, and Summerhill – you are leading the way in on-line promotion.

Well done, this is a fantastic effort from you and your team. I am thoroughly impressed, and will continue to follow SA racing closely. Unfortunately I will not be able to make the breeze up sales this year, but look forward to seeing you again next year sometime.
Best of luck, kind regards.
Gavin Laurence.
