Australian stud breaks new ground in South Africa

In 2006 Summerhill will welcome the young Australian stallion Way West (Danehill (USA) - Prospect Fever (USA) by Mr. Prospector)), winner of the G3 Blue Diamond Prelude, to its stallion ranks. Way West is one of two sons of Danehill to stand at Summerhill in 2006, the other being the European G2 winner Solskjaer (Timeform rating 120). The impeccably bred Solskjaer is a half-brother to the Group 1 winner Yeats and to the high-class 8f+ older horse in Japan Tsukuba Symphony. The acquisition of Way West marks a first for Australia’s Arrowfield Stud in this part of the world as John Messara has retained a sizeable interest in the horse.
