EMPERORS PALACE READY TO RUN GALLOPS

It seems the plaintive cry to all and sundry to get on their knees and pray for sunshine, has worked. The weather models around the Republic are increasingly precarious, but it seems the Eastern Cape is in for a thunder lathering this evening, not us. There may be sporadic showers between now and tomorrow, but they won’t impact on tomorrow’s proceedings.
We’re all wound up for the gallops, and ready to fly, and so are the horses. If you have plans for the weekend, it’s possible you may have to deal with late afternoon showers, particularly on Sunday.
To those of you who responded to the clarion call, our grateful thanks. We look forward to seeing you at 11am sharp for one of the great days in the South African racing calendar.
