MOST VISITED THOROUGHBRED BREEDING SITE IN THE WORLD

THE PROOF OF THE PUDDING IS IN THE STATS

Summerhill is the most visited thoroughbred breeding site in the world. That’s official, according to the most recent Alexa Traffic Ranking, and we’re as far ahead as Horse Chestnut was when he romped away with the J&B Met.

According to our ranking among all websites in the world, we see three times the traffic Darley does, 1.5 x’s Coolmore’s, 6 x’s Shadwell Stud, much the same for Australia’s Arrowfield, and 7.5 x’s Swettenham. We also rank well ahead of any of the trainer websites in South Africa, and when it comes to the breeding sites, we’re as far ahead as we are on the Breeders’ log.

It’s little wonder then, that a leading SEO organisation called this morning, not only to congratulate us, but to find out the intricacies of managing a thoroughbred site. Remarkably, just two days before, we received an enquiry from an aspirant graduate of the Darley Flying Start course, whose thesis revolves around website marketing, as to whether he could use ours as his study template. The recommendation came from his mentor, Dermot Cantillon. Mr. Cantillon, chairs Irish Thoroughbred Marketing, and is one of the most influential members of the Irish Thoroughbred community. Apart from his own highly successful breeding interests, he manages the affairs of the internationally acclaimed Smurfitt family. According to our enquirer, Dermot rated the Summerhill site as the best client reporting and marketing website in the world. Some praise from some man.

Well, what a huge surprise! But, to be fair, as i've recently been overseas for a month, a few other people must have taken up the slack as I was able to review the blog only once in the month. But, having returned, I propose to keep up my 3 hits a day while at home in order to preserve your enviable record.
