Racing fans obviously like the Ready To Run, judging by the deluge of enquiries we’re getting as to when the broadcasting of the Gallops will commence. Clearly, the prospect of a R2million prize, the judging panel’s observations and the achievements of the sales graduates in the past several seasons, are becoming irresistible.

The good news is that videos of the Summerhill gallops can now be accessed via the Ready To Run page on the Summerhill website.

Competition for places in the Emperors Palace Ready To Run Cup is hotting up, with Way West’s daughter, Running Rogue becoming the latest (and her young sire’s seventh) to stake a claim for inclusion with a 3.75 length victory at the Vaal on Thursday. It seems we’re in for a helluva race on the 6^th of November, and a lot of fun at the sale on Sunday 7^th.
