We know July is a bit outdated, but like the fellows in Iraq, we’ve been preoccupied with other things, like racing festivals, stallion days, awards banquets, throngs of visitors, preparations for the breeding season, thousands, literally, of mating recommendations; you name it, we’ve been at it.

Nonetheless, the growing trend of international web traffic to the Summerhill website maintained a healthy momentum through the month of July, and as the world map above so vividly illustrates, our visitors covered more than two-thirds of the earth’s surface. Yes, including Iraq, which means that those guys also need their diversions, and thank heaven there are enough of them interested in the ponies, to train their sights on us.

To a group of Zulu farmers, remembering where we are, 10 kilometres outside of the dustiest little dorp in the Midlands at the southernmost tip of what the civilized world calls the darkest continent (phew!), we’re not only flattered, but we find all of this quite amazing. What it does tell you though, is that if excellence is your credo, the way technology is right now, there’s nothing you can’t tell the world.
