Outcome, the Mike Miller-trained heroine of Sunday’s Flamboyant Stakes at Greyville, is set to retire to stud.
David Thiselton reports that following Outcome’s 10th career win, Steve Sturlese, owner of the top-class filly, has revealed that she will race until the end of July 2009 before being retired to stud, where the daughter of Muhtafal is set to offer substantial value.
This weekend’s Flamboyant Stakes scalp has added to Outcome’s runaway stakes victory in the prestigious Garden Province Stakes (Gr1) on Vodacom Durban July day last year.
Outcome is a Ready To Run graduate who was bred and raised at Summerhill for Pietermaritzburg attorney, Peter Brown, a man who’s been a customer of the farm literally since the gates opened.
