EMPERORS PALACE COCKTAIL FUNCTION

The Emperors Palace Ready To Run Sale may constitute the smallest catalogue of the year, but the quality of its entries and the phenomenal success of its graduates at the races, makes it South Africa’s most glamorous showpiece. Among the gathering crowd at this evening’s cocktail function in the beautiful grounds of the Emperors Palace, will be His Majesty King Letsie III of Lesotho, buyers and horsemen from Hong Kong and Singapore under the stewardship of South African diplomat, Davey Chiu, and Racing SA’s chief, Peter Gibson, together with numbers of delegates from the United Kingdom and Europe, all descending from the skies this morning.
