EMPERORS PALACE READY TO RUN CUP CONTENDERS

Of one thing there is no doubt. This is the strongest assembly of three-year-olds we’ll witness this season, and senior journalist Charl Pretorius’ prediction that whatever the outcome, the winner will go forward to the Highveld Summer and the emerging Cape season with the mantle of leading three-year-old on his/her shoulders.

The best of horses, the best of trainers, the best of jockeys, the best of draws for some of the top fancies, and you have all the ingredients for a serious contest.

We guess the betting will have to be our guide as to what the punter thinks until the race proper, but for what it’s worth, Phumelela’s selections, in view of the draw are :
