EMPERORS PALACE READY TO RUN CUP CANDIDATE
With a sister to Hear The Drums, a brother to Phunyuka and a sister to Catmandu all firing at Turffontein yesterday, one could be forgiven for wishing the expeditious arrival of the 2009 Emperors Palace Ready To Run Sale… more on that later.
The star of Race 8 though was the Mike de Kock-trained Fisani, a daughter of Kahal out of Gypsey Spirit, who pulled off a decisive win, from a 13 draw, under a superb ride by Anthony Delpech.
The 2008 Ready To Run graduate takes her career stats to 2 wins and 2 places from 4 starts for owners Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Maktoum, Ronnie and Bev Napier and the Summerhill Stud Syndicate.
Of interest to followers of this year’s Summerhill draft for the Emperors Palace Ready To Run Sale is Lot 17, a half-brother to Fisani by Malhub.
