For the Summerhill Team it never rains... it pours.

Lets Rock ‘n Roll
(Gold Circle)
The frenetic activity around the Vodacom Durban July and Summerhill Stallion Day might well have abated in their aftermath, but it’s hardly a “slow down” time at Summerhill.
This morning kicked off with an early breakfast at Hartford House where there was an influx of international visitors from Germany, New Zealand, Ireland, Australia and Italy while we still have visitors from Hong Kong, Scotland and Dubai in residence.
The boss has been frantically managing calls from various parts of the world with orders for the Broodmare and Weanling Sale at Sibaya today.
As he left South Africa’s newest “buying gem” of business, Dr Jim Hay and his merry men, he rushed off for an appointment with His Majesty King Letsie III at the sales ring.
Tomorrow witnesses the Hallmark Dispersal Sale, where the dam of Muhtafal’s Grade One hero, Let’s Rock ‘n Roll, will be the centre of attention.
And then the team is off to Johannesburg on Thursday and Friday to settle arrangements for the November Emperor’s Palace Ready To Run Sale.
