SINGITA GAME RESERVE does it again

Our good and long-standing mate Luke Bales has done it again with his Singita Game Reserve being voted Best Hotel in the World in the 2008 Travel and Leisure Magazine’s World Best awards. It’s the only hotel ever to have won the accolade three times in the 13 year history of the awards. Singita came second in last year’s rankings, but earned first place honours in 2004 and 2006. The World’s Best award winners are determined by an on-line poll.

Our only claim to any fame here rests in the fact that the boss is Luke Bales’ son, Jonathan’s god-father –afraid that won’t make the headlines.
