MDK aka Mike de Kock reaches 60 Grade 1 wins!

Rat Burana, scored her second Grade 1 win last Saturday, giving Mike de Kock his 60^th Grade 1 win and chances are he will be well over 100 before his 60^th birthday!

“It was fitting that Rat Burana is owned by Mary Slack,” said Mike de Kock. “I’ve trained many Grade 1 winners for Mary and her family. Mrs Oppenheimer’s Horse Chestnut in the SA Derby was my 20^th Grade 1 back in 1999, I still rate him the best I’ve trained. Here we are 40 Grade 1’s later. It’s a milestone for which I thank all my patrons.”
