Recollections of J and B Met Winner Angus

The banner picture on our blog this week is one taken by a Sunday Times photographer in the week leading up to the 2003 renewal of one of South Africa’s greatest races, the J&B Met Group One. Our hero is Angus, winner of that year’s race, doing his final preparation at Plattner Racing’s Rondeberg establishment on the Cape West Coast.

We’ve had a quiet racing week so far, and it pays to remind ourselves of our past glories at these times!!
