Mike de KockSpeaking to Mike de Kock after Ramonti’s win, he tells us Asiatic Boy is stronger and better than he was in the UAE Derby, and he’ll be returning in the Sussex Stakes (Gr.1) at Glorious Goodwood (end of July). What a contest, with George Washington and Ramonti among the protagonists, particularly when you consider the 2^nd horse home in Dubai, Jack Junior, (beaten 9 lengths in receipt of 9lbs) ran within 5 lengths of Excellent Art in the St James Palace.
