Fantastic LightRandwick Bloodstock signed the tab at a tad over R700 000 for this dam of city winner, Inthemix, and one of Queensland’s most promising juveniles, PEPPERHEAD. The significance for South Africa is that the half brother (by World Champion racehorse FANTASTIC LIGHT) is currently under preparation at Summerhill for November’s “greatest ever” Ready to Run Sale. And from all accounts, he’s a cracker. Not that he’s by any means alone. The draft includes three HUSSONETS, colts by Australian star sires DANEHILL DANCER and SHOW A HEART, and, almost unbelievably, a sparklingly attractive daughter of Kentucky Derby winning sire, STREET CRY.
