Grand Central: Top son of Sadlers' Wells

General Guy WatkinsWe’ve spoken before about Grand Central, the 2 million pound plus son of the Monarch of World sires, Sadlers’ Wells, and his imminent arrival at Summerhill, where he’ll be standing on behalf of the Hong Kong Breeders Club along with fifteen choice mares. The horse comes courtesy of a relationship with the previous CEO of the Hong Kong Jockey Club, the internationally respected General Guy Watkins.

While there’ll be a good deal to follow on this chap in the months ahead, Head Stallion man Greig Muir (now in the “beyond the 20 years service” brigade) jets out in a couple of weeks to fetch this hugely valuable cargo.
