Big "AL" overdue for a big one

Mr FlatleyOne consolation for THANDOLWAMI’S 2nd in the Byerley Turk, was that the race went to MR FLATLEY, bred and raised by our neighbours Alan Sutherland and his dear “missus,” Vera, and raced by our mates Herman Brown Jnr and Englishman Paul Rhodes. MR FLATLEY’S big win gave new meaning to the term “living next door to Alice”, though Suthers, an All Black rugby star of a bygone (very) era, still has to face up to the reality of his beloved side having to take on the Springboks in Paris later this year. And that might just turn the tables!
