Slew the Red sires first winner

First season sire SLEW THE RED (USA) posted his first winner from just his second starter when his two year old daughter Two Moccasions won the first race at the Vaal - the 1200m R65,000 Maiden Juvenile Plate.

The filly ran 4th at her first start on 22 February but quickened in the final 200m today and was a convincing winner for jockey Randall Simons and trainer Paul Matchett.

Two Moccasins is owned by  M Mansour, N Chronias and S Zachey and was bred by Hallmark Thoroughbreds.
