National Sale yearlings

The National Sales yearlings have only three months remaining before the Sale. It’s time to learn the routine of stable life: being handled morning and afternoon, daily grooming and feet being picked up, how to stand to be inspected and photographed, to walk in a straight line on your own and with a group, develop muscle tone and a show sheen to a coat, and understand that your new career as a race horse has already started … even though being on the walker each morning, romping in your paddock all day and then and having your neighbour bump into their feed tin in the next door stable at 2 am and rudely awaken you may not feel like a ‘career’ as yet !
