Happy Valentine's Day

Okay, I can see more than a few people wondering what on earth a Valentine's message has to do with a horse stud.

Very little in fact.

One could, of course, draw parallels between 14 February and the extensive beds of red roses in the Hartford House gardens, or the fact that it's as good an excuse as any to mention to your partner/husband/wife how much you love them ... and what the heck, why not drive right on past the florist next year and buy a horse together instead ?

I've always thought it makes for a better dinner party story.
