Hussonet (dynamicsyndications)Okay, we all know there are three Hussonets in the Summerhill Ready To Run draft, because we’ve been banging on about them for months. Not that they didn’t deserve it, mind you. It’s easy to see now, having worked with them, why Hussonet’s been Champion South American sire seven times.
A week ago, we reported on a freakish performance from one of his first crop “Australians”; Weekend Hussler, who put 5 lengths of daylight between himself and the best that country has to offer in the Caulfield Guineas (Gr.1). This weekend past, Rios, another from the same crop, did a similar demolition job of the Wellington Guineas in New Zealand.
So, he’s not just a South American wonder, this man Hussonet. He’s shown he can do it anywhere, and South Africa is now also on his hit list.
