CHAMPION STAKES UPDATE : Mullins Bay going for glory!

Passage Of Time (dailymail)Winner of last season’s Gr1 Criterium de Saint-Cloud, Prince Khalid Abdullah’s Passage of Time, will run in the G1 Breeder’s Cup F/M Turf after connections decided against a tilt at Saturday’s G1 Emirates Airline Champion S. at Newmarket. Racing Manager, Lord Teddy Grimthorpe said that the Juddmonte homebred was back in the picture for a trans-Atlantic flight. “We wanted to see what the Breeders’ Cup was looking like, Lord Grimthorpe explained. “It is a bit of a turnaround, but the Champion S. looks very competitive”.

That’s one Group One winner less for Mullins Bay to knock over, but he still has six to go.
