A Famous Victory For The Springboks

Sunday evening’s events in Paris, when South Africa put the Argentineans to the sword by 37-13, cemented their place in the final against the World Champions, England.

Battle of IsandlwanaBattle of Isandlwana (Nunnari)We love our English friends, but we don’t love them that much that we should give away the laurels on Saturday. That said, we remain fixed in the hope that if we don’t win it, they do and so its a case of, as our Colonial masters so often taught us, that the best team should win, and in the process, we wish them the very best of British luck.

Of course, every Englishman will recall the events at Isandlwana on the 22nd February, 1879, and that you can’t treat the Zulus too lightly!
