Zimbabwe update
Thursday, August 17, 2006 at 06:52PM Kahir Almayden was one of Europe's fastest juveniles, the son of Distinctly North a dual graded stakes winner in Europe (his 2 Group wins by a combined margin of 15 lengths).
The Summerhill managed stallion stands at Rumbavu Park in Zimbabwe.
We learned last week that Kahir Almayden earned the title of Champion Sire in Zimbabwe for the 2005/6 season, also siring the Champion Two Year Old in Kenya.
Congratulations to those who have supported the horse over the past few years. Special mention must be made of Chris Peech who stands the stallion. Chris' wife is is none other than Noelene Peech who, amongst many career accolades, is well known as the trainer of champion filly IPI TOMBE up until her 3 year old campaign.
