Out and About : The Heaviest Snowfall Of The Season

The heaviest snowfall so far this season has ensured the Drakensberg Mountains have been crowned in white for the past 2 days.

A heavy frost this morning added to the winter landscape as paddocks transformed to silver. By 8am the foals had been led out to the foal paddocks, those young legs taking the opportunity to gallop in ever widening circles around their watchful mothers as the warmth of the sun revealed the grass beneath their feet.
