Mullins Bay update

Dual stakes winner (and Group winner) Mullins Bay - who retires to stud at Summerhill in 2007 - will have his first start in 13 months this weekend. The John Hammond trained son of Machiavellian will run in the Gr 2 Premio Ribot over 1600m. He leaves today for Rome. Champion Italian jockey Merco Demiro has secured the ride.

UPDATE - Mullins Bay  ran 2nd, beaten by dual Gr 1 winner RAMONTI.
